Chicken And Okra Casserole

4 chicken pieces.
1/2 cup (4oz) margarine.
1 lb small okra, with stem removed.
2 garlic cloves crushed.
1/4 tsp ground cloves.
1 cup (1/2pt) tomato juice.
salt and pepper.
- Fry the whole okras in the margarine for 5 mins. then set them aside.
- Put the chicken pieces in the pan and brown both sides.
- Add the garlic and cloves, cover and cook gently for 20 mins., turning the chicken pieces once.
- Add in the tomato juice, 1 cup (1/2pt) of water, salt and pepper, and okras. Cover and simmer gently for 45mins.
